What was the highlight of Kyukaruizawa Kikyo, Curio Collection by Hilton
Highly recommend this hotel!
The service was excellent and the staff went out of their way to assist us and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite being an upmarket hotel, they were still very accommodating and welcoming of our toddler and there were extra amenities for her which were appreciated. The hotel is situated in the older part of Karuizawa and is within walking distance of many beautiful attractions and restaurants/cafes. The breakfast is also excellent.

Still an excellent hotel but some things less impressive than in last stay in 2019
Stylish interiors, excellent room, hot baths
Breakfast was disappointing compared to last visit in 2019. Staff were not very friendly regarding getting transport from hotel to train station so we decided to walk

Everything is good except the variety of the breakfast.
The place is nice. The staff is very nice. The room is quite big so its good for family with the kids. The location is far from the ski resort but they have a shuttle bus where you can catch and request time in advance so its quite good.
The breakfast is not variety. We stayed for 5 nights and the main course is exactly the same even the buffet is the same. We got bored of it so we ended up finding breakfast outside the hotel.
